About the Doctor
Dr. Noorun Khan is a board-certified internist who has spent more than three decades caring for adults across Chicagoland. He currently serves as Medical Director of Local-MD Urgent Care in Homewood and is Co-Medical Director at Alden Estates in Orland Park.
After earning his medical degree at Khyber Medical College (1989), Dr. Khan completed an Internal Medicine residency at UIC-Christ Hospital. His career has spanned hospitalist medicine, hospice leadership, and outpatient primary care—giving him a 360-degree view of patient needs from the clinic to the bedside.
Known for his warm bedside manner and evidence-based decision-making, Dr. Khan partners closely with patients to create individualized plans that improve quality of life and prevent complications. When he’s not in clinic, he rounds at skilled-nursing facilities and mentors young physicians on compassionate, whole-person care.
